下級年次での学修を基礎とし、実際の判例を素材として、法をより深く理解するための能力を養成します。「実定法特講（法学特講）」は大学教員が担当し、憲法・民法・刑法・行政法・商法・民事訴訟法・刑事訴訟法の重要判例を題材としながら、判決文を読むことから始め、判決の意義・射程・将来の方向性を見定めます。「実定法特講（法学特講）」は法曹実務家が担当し、演習形式の下で、ディスカッションや論文作成を通じて、「法学特講」で扱われた問題の理解を深めます。

Building on the material covered in earlier years at the university, these programs aim to foster more profound understanding of the law based on actual legal precedents. In Positive Law Study (Advanced Legal Study Program), taught by university teaching staff, important precedents in the areas of constitutional, civil, criminal, administrative, commercial, civil procedural and criminal procedural law are outlined. Students begin by reading court decisions, and go on to analyze the significance and scope of these decisions and potential future trends. Special Lectures on the Legal Profession are led by legal professionals and carried out exercise-style with discussions and essay composition aimed at deepening understanding of the issues covered in the Positive Law Study (Advanced Legal Study Program).

判例を原文から読み解く能力を身につけることができる。併せて、演習を通して法的文章を作成する能力を身につけることができる。

Students gain the ability to read and understand the original documents of legal precedents. In addition, they engage in exercises that build capability to prepare legal documents.
