キャリア教育科目として開講し、科目の目的や到達目標は以下の内容となっています。(１)特許法は発明の保護と利用を図ることで発明を、(２)実用新案法は物品の形状・構造・組合せにかかわる考案の保護と利用を図ることで考案を、(３)意匠法は意匠の保護と利用を図ることで意匠創作を奨励し、いずれも産業の発達へ寄与することを目的として、また、(４)商標法は商標を保護することで商標使用者の業務上の信用維持を図り、それによって産業の発達へ寄与すると共に需要者の利益を保護することを目的として定められている。これら４法について、弁理士を想定した知的財産取扱に最小限必要な程度の基礎知識の習得を目指す。

This Career Education Program offers basic knowledge of the four main patent laws that are required knowledge for patent attorneys. The four laws and their purposes are: (1) the Patent Act for protecting and utilizing inventions; (2) the Utility Model Act for protecting and utilizing devices related to a product’s shape, structure, and combination; (3) the Design Act for encouraging design and creative work by protecting and utilizing designs; (4) the Trademark Act for maintaining corporate trust of trademark-users contributing to the development of industry, as well as protecting consumer benefits.
