Students improve their understanding of the realities of the journalistic profession, journalists' tasks, the issues they face, their roles, significance and outlook for the future, and are exposed to instructors' viewpoints and approach to issues, strengthening their interest in and understanding of the contemporary media scene, society and the world around us.
