海外研修プログラムを正課授業として展開し、外国語運用能力向上および多文化理解への機会を提供することで、グローバルな視点を持った理工学部学生の養成を行うことを目的とする。夏期はハワイ大学にて約３週間の海外研修を行う。研修時期は8月下旬～9月中旬とし、宿泊先はホームスティの予定。受け入れ大学の都合上、募集人数を設ける。（4月上旬に説明会を行い、募集人数を超える応募があった場合には面接試験を実施する。）また、春期にも別の大学にて同様の海外研修を実施する。

By offering a study abroad program as a regular course and providing opportunities for improving foreign language proficiency and multicultural understanding, it encourages students of the Faculty of Science and Engineering to gain a global view. In summer, the program is held at the University of Hawai’i, Manoa, for about 3 weeks from the end of August to the middle of September. Students will live in homestays. Please note that this program accepts a limited number of students. Details are announced at the orientation meeting in early April. If the number of applicants exceeds the limit, students will be screened by interviews. Similar study abroad program at another university is also held in spring.
